A baby rabbit is called a kit. A female is called a doe and male is called a buck. Rabbits can live up to ten years and produce up to 12 babies a MONTH! The babies stay inside the womb for about a month and at 4-12 weeks old they are weaned from their mother. At 3-4 months old, the rabbit is ready to mate and have babies of its own. At 5 months old the rabbit is fully grown.
